BOM declared a Cyclone Watch for Darwin at 2.05 PM Thursday 15 March 2018 for a category 1 cyclone passing close to Darwin during Saturday 17 March.  Darwin Port has activated its Cyclone Procedure and commenced Stage 1 preparedness.  Further updates will be issued as the situation develops.
